Product Description

Global Water's GL400-7-1 Data Logger is a rugged remote recording instrument that features 7 Analog channels and 1 Pulse channel for data recording.  The Data Loggers communicate using Microsoft's Windows® or Palm's operating systems, which makes data download and analysis easy.  Purchase of the Data Logger includes Global Water's Windows-based data logging software, which allows easy upload of recorded data to standard spreadsheet programs on a PC computer.  Global Water's Palm Pilot data conversion software is also included to simplify data collection in the field.

All Global Data Loggers can accept any 4-20 mA sensor, and each data logger can provide switched power to sensors.  Twisted pair 2-wire and 3-wire sensors can easily and quickly connected to the data logger's terminal strip.

An optional rugged. lockable, weather resistant enclosure can be purchased for the data logger.  The case can easily be hidden, bolted, or secured inside an additional enclosure for added protection from weather, animals, and vandals.  A 12VDC battery (that fits inside the case with the Data Logger) and a battery charger are also included with this option.

Data Logger Software Information

The Datalogger includes Global Water Datalogger Software, Windows-based software that provides many useful features, such as real-time readout, measurement interval and engineering unit selection, station ID setting, and sensor calibration.  The software makes accessing stored data and setting options easy.  Data downloaded from the Datalogger can easily be opened in any PC spreadsheet program for analysis and graphic presentation.  Global Water's Datalogger Software will run on a PC-type laptop or desktop computer running Windows 95 or later.  To communicate with Global Water's Dataloggers, a computer must be equipped with a standard RS232 serial communication port.  Purchase of the Datalogger includes a RS232 cable (for communication between the datalogger and your computer).
